MushyGushy Screencast Video
MushyGushy was one of the presenters at last night’s NY Tech Meetup. Check out the demo video here. It’s a fun ecard system that takes the boring ecard to a whole new level.
I wonder why BlueMountain didn’t think of this! Perhaps an early acquisition?
Molly, the screencast master, has created an overview screencast of how to use the service. Here is the screencast (rss come on inside, the water’s warm!):
NY Tech Meetup Recap Part III – Clickable and MushyGushy w/video
Part III from the NY Tech Meetup Recap includes Clickable and MushyGushy. Check out the other NY Tech Meetup posts as well.
Clickable
Clickable first presented at the TechCrunch40 event last month. It’s a tool to manage your online ad spend. Please visit posts here and here for the overview of Clickable and/or watch the video demo below.
MushyGushy
They call MushyGushy a "ME-card" site – and it’s a load of fun from what I can tell. While the team didn’t provide a live demo (boo!) it’s an e-card site that puts you into card. You take a photo, and the software helps you to take the face from the card and then you can create loads of fun scenes. You can use any face from any photo and they also have loads of celebrity faces to use as well. Other notes:
- They are trying to "become a major marketing tool" – I would focus on getting users first, then worry about telling us over and over about your plans to rule the world
- They offer a "head case" which holds all your heads
- The revenue model will be sponsored heads in sponsored scenes – goes back to the major marketing tool bullet above
