NY-based Next New Networks is announcing today that Yahoo!, Hulu, and Metacafe have become part of Next New Networks "superdistribution network". Earlier this year, Next New Networks partnered with MySpace TV.
Here are the specifics from the announcement. Yahoo! and Metacafe will each gain access to all Next New Networks programming. Hulu will begin distributing content from six popular networks including: BarelyPolitical, home of Obama Girl; Threadbanger, for DIY fashion tips and advice; and Fast Lane Daily, daily car news, which is also creating, for Hulu viewers to see first, a weekly round-up of Fast Lane Daily episodes.
TubeMogul also named Next New Networks the number one online video syndicator garnering more views than giants such as HBO, Fox and Warner Brothers from videos deployed by TubeMogul. It’s important to note that this announcement from TubeMogul only counts videos that are deployed using TubeMogul – so other publishers won’t be counted.
The puppet in the videos we posted yesterday is part of the Next New Networks family.
NY-based online video creator Next New Networks (NNN) is announcing a new partnership with MySpace and MySpaceTV today. Financial terms of the partnership were not disclosed.
The videos will be embeddable on MySpace profiles and will shave share capabilities. This is a smart distribution play for NNN, especially the embed functionality.
Here are the Next New Networks shows that are part of the partnership and will each have a dedicated channel on MySpaceTV:
Barely Political: Smart, sexy political comedy.
Channel Frederator: Cartoon central on the Internet.
EPIC-FU: Masters of the new pop culture.
Fast Lane Daily: Daily auto news.
Garage419: Rants, raves and debates for car people from car people.
Indy Mogul: The network devoted to anyone with a videocamera.
Threadbanger: The first network for people who make their own fashion.
Ultra Kawaii: Pets so cute, it hurts.
Veracifier: Daily news looking at the world of politics and global issues.
Viropop: Green is the new Pop.
VOD Cars: The #1 Broadband Car Network.
Update: Ms. Nicole has additional info on the deal.
