With the news daily of a new batch of job cuts, getting your resume in order could be job 1 these days. I’ve hired enough people over the years to know the difference between someone who put time into their resume and those who haven’t. But what do you do when you are trying to figure out how to describe the work you did at a company or organization?

NY-based RezRedo aims to help with enhancing job descriptions. The service launched last November and has thousands of records in their database. Here’s how it works… you put in a company or a job title into thei Rezredo search. The search returns a list of position descriptions (as seen below) which you can view in more detail.

The idea is to provide you with job descriptions to help beef up your resume. I can’t tell if RezRedo has reviewed the descriptions before they go into the database. My advice is to look at this tool as a research tool and don’t just copy word-for-word. Otherwise it will be easy to tell for a good interviewer.

I do like the concept of RezRedo as it could help you get started on crafting the perfect position descriptions.
