		<description>I don&#039;t think it&#039;s so much the short memory factor, but more like the information overload/overkill factor. So much has transpired not only in the TechCrunch world since the UK site went under, but just the entire blogosphere/tech world in general. 

Yes, while - Technically Speaking - I&#039;m on &quot;vacation&quot; - I don&#039;t even want to see what I&#039;ve been missing this past week. I&#039;m sure many have received millions, companies have gone under, and new companies have launched. So much happens, that in the end, the whole debacle that you speak of in your post - most casual observers have already forgotten. 

I&#039;ve done some browsing around as time permits, but for the most part, my usual feed reading tool has remained &quot;offline&quot; this week.

		<description>I think alot of people have moved onto Blognation now as it covers the world. Blognation has a lot more startup news than techcrunch does. 

I will add techcruch uk feed back now its up again. They will still have decent coverage and Mike Buchers stuff was always spot on.
