		<description>Although this particular panel was made up of all men, at the event that kicked off Internet Week the panel was comprised of all women. The event was titled &quot;Shifting the Paradigm: Young Women with Cool Jobs Making a Difference in Digital Media and Beyond.&quot; There are indeed women involved in the future of media. 

There are also several articles documenting how young women (teens) are much more involved in social networking and any opportunity they can get to &quot;customize&quot; on the Web. I think that this generation of women will be more interested in technology and media as they come to college-age than women have been in the past. And they are the &quot;future.&quot;
