We appreciate the positive review and are glad you're enjoying Toggl.

As for your suggestions, I will respond to them a bit. Listing projects in the left menu would be useful to some, but for those with numerous projects, we thought the menu would be too crowded. If you have further ideas about this, we'd love to hear them.

Friendly names for team members is a great idea! We will add that to our wish list:)

We decided to do email invites so people would have control over being added to projects. We want people to be able to approve or decline invitations.

Can you expand on the left nav suggestion? What links would you like?

Right now there is no video podcast, but there is a screencast at screeniac: http://screeniac.com/2006/07/24/togglcom/. That might be helpful...

Your feedback is really helpful. It would be great if you could expound on some issues...we'd really like to use your suggestions to improve Toggl.

Cheers!

I am thinking that even if the person had 20-30 projects, listing them on the left (either as a menu or a drop down, etc.) might help increase usability. Also, there might be something to creating categories. So for example, I could create a bucket/category for client a and one for client b and then list the projects and tasks under each one. Might be a good hierarchy model.

The current left menu is a bit confusing... for example:

If there are no current tasks, it says "there are currently no...." but shows me the finger to click but does nothing. Whereas the report options look exactly the same but I can click on them. I think underlining those links would be helpful to differentiate what is clickable with what is not

Also, this morning I tried to create a new task. I clicked on the gray button to track time, entered a description and let the counter go. I then clicked stop timer and went to the item and clicked save task and ticked "completed" yet when I go to the completed tasks option, it is not listed -- am i missing something?

Bridget, can you send me an e-mail to allen [at] centernetworks.com ?
