Top 100 German Language Startups Announced
We’ve provided extensive coverage of the German startup scene on CN over the past two years. Today we’ve learned of a new German top startup list produced by Yeebase. The list covers mostly companies from Germany although I think at least a couple are Swiss. All of the sites have German as one of the languages they support — most support English as well.
I spoke with Yeebase blogger Timo Heuer who explained how the list works. "’Startups’ is a portal that lists German-language startups. The list is updated once a week and shows the top 100 German startups. It’s based on an algorithm and we’re using the Yahoo! and Technorati API to calculate the ranking."
