Cooperation (using VentureBeat Profiles content) makes zero strategic/financial sense for ReadWrite, Inquisitr, Mashable as they are competing with VentureBeat for the same (or very similar) ad dollars and audience. By using VentureBeat and the newly acquired Tradevibes, they're basically helping their competition to get more pageviews, user engagement, etc which helps VentureBeat's audience numbers and case for ad revenue.
