Twitter Adds People Search – Find Others to Stalk
by Allen Stern on August 21st, 2007
Just a bit of quick news: Twitter has released a "People Search." So now you can find other buddies and friends to watch eat ice cream, pee, walk to the fishing pond and maybe a bit of actual work. The search is on the Twitter site on the right, give it a try today! Imagine the possibilities!
Secondary news, Twitter has signed a deal to provide Twitters to the MTV Video Music Awards. I can't wait to get twitter messages from Britney, LL Cool J, Eminem and K-Fed! In all seriousness, it looks like a great partnership for Twitter to attempt to start to move into mainstream. If they can get the kids to use it, they are set!

Sorry, I think this is the most useless feature ever.
Go on google, type this in the box: “site:twitter.com your search terms”, e.g. “site:twitter.com centernetworks”, and it will do a side wide search over -everything-. Not just usernames.
Glad to see Twitter finally saw the light that shines out of my wisdom hole. Soon, I will stalk, er, I mean “follow” you all.
