I’ve felt this way lately but I thought it was just the bloom off the rose after 9 months of heavy duty Twitter use. I’m feeling a little burned out but it could just be the turnover in relationships as people come & go from social networks. It sometimes feels like I’m constantly in a waiting room, greeting new people. It’s not them, it’s ME!

the previous posts are twitter-related because that was the topic last night at the nyc tech meetup - otherwise i would have started this on monday - i felt like i had to wait to support nyc technology

@nathan Ha, good one. Going to post busy != productive on facebook now.

@liz – I feel the same way, and I’ve only been using Twitter for 1+ month. But I think you can prevent burnout if you focus on using it for say 1-2 hours a day, and keep in mind what your goals for using Twitter are, whether it’s to build new friendships or business contacts, or keep in touch with local happenings.

Could not agree more.

Too many self-inflating posts about Scoble or Guy or Gary.

Philosophical diatribes won’t help you succeed in the trenches. Vague predictions about “new media” or “social marketing” aren’t going to put food on the table.

Get out there and do and the share TACTICS.
