I had already unleashed the spider when I saw your post yesterday.. Sadly, it was written in such a way that it can’t be killed. Ever. It just keeps going and going, becoming smarter and faster with each page scrape.

Well, maybe not faster. In fact, that might be the end of us. It takes, I donno, 18 minutes to load a single page on twitter…

These stats aren't meant to encourage anyone...just show what kinds of interesting information we can gather. Like twitter itself, consider twitterholic a kind of a social experiment...trend finding wont be very interesting one day from launch, but over time, we could find some very interesting things about our habits.
