Unype Demo Recap w/Video

Unype presented the demo of their product at the NY Tech Meetup this evening. Presenter Murat Aktihanoglu began by explaining that Unype is "a virtual world, built on top of Google Earth, with all social networks as entry points." I was pretty lost after that. It appears to be a tool built on Google Earth that lets you tie in your social networking buddies to follow them and also to find parties and events near a location. Seems like it could be interesting but just as Murat said, Google Earth is a very heavy application.

The woman sitting next to me felt a need to scream out about some spam on the projector which caused Murat to lose his place in the presentation. Everyone saw the spam and just sat there, she should have done the same thing.
