		<description>This isn&#039;t &quot;new&quot;, just relabeling the old link counter.  I think it&#039;s a rather unfortunate move, for the very reasons you bring up. There have been so many discussions on this in the past, T&#039;rati had to know bloggers did not like equating the link count to authority, so it really strikes me  as a .. hm... not-so-smart move to rename it.
