Job Description

We’re looking for a full-time User Experience Manager for our Amsterdam office. You will work on the interactive behaviour, visual appearance, and assistive capabilities of our groundbreaking products. You will work as a core member of the Product Team to create a great user experience through design and research. The Product Team is a cross-functional group of people comprised of Marketers, Business Intelligence Specialists and Product Owners who together shape the future of all eBuddy products.

You love figuring out what motivates people across the Globe to use applications and products, you understand how to create the most simple but effective optimized user experience – and then don’t stop until the implementation meets your high standard of quality. You will work in close cooperation with the Product Owners in a creative process to identify, conceptualize and optimize new functionalities, features and products. As this is a team-effort, you are open to discuss your designs to reach the ultimate goal of enlightening the end-user. During the development of our products, you are available for the development team to optimize the user experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing, executing and analyzing User Experience research
  • Help create innovate software product experiences that meet business, project, and design goals.
  • Set up, maintain and analyze User Experience measurements
  • Create wireframes, prototypes and application flows for the development department
  • Help develop and guard the eBuddy Identity both online & offline
  • Advise internally on user experience design matters

Skills:

  • You have completed a study relevant to User Experience
  • You have at least 2 years of experience in a similar company
  • You strive for the highest possible quality of work
  • You are creative, result driven, and communicative; you can persuade and motivate people
  • Deadlines do not scare you
  • You master the English language in speaking and writing
  • You can use Illustrator, Photoshop and Flash
  • You have a basic understanding of Javascript, CSS and XHTML
