User Interface Engineer

Looking for a dynamic and talented USER INTERFACE ENGINEER for web with extensive experience in user interface design using PHP, JavaScript/AJAX.

Your primary responsibilities include:

* Work with clients and internal team to gather requirements and build design interfaces, flows, templates
* Optimize current product features flow by implementing your expertise in user interface engineering concepts
* Creating Information Architecture
* Identify and implement best practices for front-end design engineering for enhancements
* Coding in HTML, CSS, PHP and JavaScript/AJAX
* Content management on website, blogs, newsletter, marketing info, emails etc…
* Work alongside engineering team to build out the components
* Product development management – keep track of milestones and report directly to CTO. Additional involvement in product architecture, analysis, design, planning, and scheduling is required.

Requirements:

* Min. 3 years in web or desktop applications development preferably in the mobile, advertising or web 2.0 domain
* Experience in website and graphic design
* Proven experience in building highly scalable solutions that received high traffic or maintained a significantly large user base.
* Experience in creating fast, cross-browser compliant solutions and can demonstrate intense knowledge about best practices.
* A self-starter who is diligent and organized and can learn quickly. Has the ability to provide new ideas, contribute to new and innovate designs. We are looking for someone who can think outside the box.
* B.A./B.S. in Computer Science or a related technical field

Languages: PHP, HTML/JavaScript/CSS/AJAX
Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL
Applications: Proficient in any design related tools
Tools: TRAC, SVN with plug-ins for Agile development
Infrastructure: 3Tera Grid systems
