Victoria’s Secret Shares the Facebook Like Button a Whole New Way
Last month Facebook, the company that is getting closer to AOL 2.0 everyday, launched their new social plugins which includes the new Like button. Lots of websites, including this one, have installed the Facebook Like button. When you click it (it’s located on the top of this story, apparently the link is shared with your Facebook “friends” and then more traffic will come flowing to this story.
Many blogs and news outlets have written about the good, the bad and the ugly when it comes to Facebook and their social plugins and their policies around privacy.
Victoria’s Secret has decided to take a different way to share the Facebook Like button in a way only they can. As you can see in the graphic below, Victoria’s Secret has created a panty that shows off the concept of “liking” something. It’s called a “limited edition” and will be available starting tomorrow until they exhaust their supply.
The undergarment is free with a purchase - here’s a link to the coupon that you will need to print and bring to the store. The coupon has already been shared on all the major deal boards — you see, that’s how you share a great deal – not directly with Facebook.

That’s a creative thought! I appreciate it! It would be always better to think creative about latest features happening on social media’s rather worrying about drawbacks!
Wow, I like it. I really, really like it.
(Strictly from a marketing perspective, you understand).
