VideoJug Heads Into Poland
by Allen Stern on May 19th, 2008
Video learning site VideoJug has announced a new partnership that will push the learning site into continental Europe. The deal is around licensing of VideoJug content by Polish Media Company, Agora. Agora will translate several hundred VideoJug films into Polish and then distribute them across their vertical web properties, including Gazeta.pl. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Agora self-reports 17 million unique users per month across their network of Web sites. VideoJug has over 40,000 hi-def videos on its network. Check out Roi Carthy’s interview with VideoJug execs.

I’ve been waiting for new news from Video Jug. I met the CEO, Nancy Cruickshank, a few months back just after she had excited Handbag.com and she seemed like a lady on a mission. Poland makes perfect sense. The UK and US economies are wobbling and the Polish economy is on the rise.
My money is on healthy trade sale for video jug inside 12 months.
