Wow Andrew – that’s awesome that they followed up with you. I’ve never heard from Vimeo once in the nearly 3 yrs of running CN but if they followup with readers/commenters, that’s all that matters.

I got an email from Vimeo after I posted my comment. Turns out I had two accounts linked to the same email address. They were going to cancel the UNpaid account that I did NOT use. So it’s all cool.

Frank – does YT store the source at all? I am not sure I’ve ever seen an option to download the source for videos I’ve uploaded.

Wow, this is a sign of the time I guess. Big files cost money.
It will be interesting to see if YouTube follows this pattern as well.

Allen, they’re getting too aggressive @ Vimeo. I am a *paying* pro user, and last month I got an email from them telling me that they were planning to delete my videos because it’s been a while since I logged into my account.
