Do You Know The Brands of Web 2.0?

Do you think you know all of the brands of the Web 2.0 movement? Quizible has created a quiz where you have to match the company names to the logos of a variety of Web 2.0 services. I was able to get almost all of them — can you score 100%? What about after you have enjoyed a few glasses of egg nog?

Someone asked on Twitter: How many will be around at the end of 2009?

Not as easy as one might think…got 27 out of 33. :) Interesting “brain teaser” thanks for the link.

  2. JimmyThomas says:

23 of 33… and they really need to fix that annoying nag javascript that comes up every time you finish a question. Man…. super annoying.

  3. Curt Grymala says:

Seriously. That lightbox popup is extremely annoying. For me, it didn’t even wait until I had finished a question. It interrupted me while I was typing an answer at least six or seven times.

I only scored 16 out of 33, so I guess I need to study more. I recognized about 10 more of the logos, but couldn’t pull the names, unfortunately.

  4. Jamie Martin says:

Is there a way to see the ones you didn’t get?

    I got 29/34.

    Didn’t know 16, 19, 21, 29 or 33.

Scored 32/33, no idea about the #21!! what is it?

very lame login requirements. i logged in using a verified open ID and still got their constant login requests. huge barrier.

cool concept though, wish it had been user friendly enough for me to finish it.

also lame, the fact that the drop down menu below my comment automatically selects email notifications for future comments. just sayin’

Fun stuff. Got 29/33. Marketing messages are just being moved with different mediums. This time in marketing history is just fun.

  8. No. 21 is edocr.com, in case you did not know. We are a UK (Manchester) based tech startup offering a document publishing, distribution and interactivity platform for the enterprise. Quizible was developed by the same guys who coded the front-end of edocr.com.

    Best regards

Why is ‘edocr’ (as spammed above) even listed alongside the mighty facebook et cetera.

Surely scribd would have made more sense
