Carson Future of Web Apps Summit Coverage
This week I attended the Future of Web Apps Summit put together by Carson Systems. I think Ryan, Gillian and the whole CS team did an awesome job in organizing the event. Except for the Wi-fi coverage being a bit spotty (amazing how we can’t live for an hour without a “fix”), the event went off without any visible issues. The pricing was excellent, the non-hotel atmosphere really made it feel like a family. I felt very comfortable speaking to people at the event. Some general comments on the presentations:
- I would have liked a summit opening – perhaps an industry leader just talking in more general terms and setting the mood
- Most of the presenters could have used an opening.
- More light on the stage :)
- Perhaps a 2-3 hour exposition, would have given more time for forced-networking
- A panel discussion could have worked well too
My take on each presenter:
