About The Square Agency
The Square Agency is an innovative advertising services firm.
We are building an online community of creative talent (18-34 year olds) with backgrounds in film, art, graphic design, communications, writing, marketing, etc. Our community competes & collaborates to develop superior advertising for brands, and our process spreads our clients’ advertising virally in a digital, new media promotion. The Square Agency’s mission is to revolutionize the $14B U.S. advertising development industry!
The Square Agency was founded in early 2007 – we are venture capital-backed and are currently sponsored by The Wharton Business School. The management team includes professionals with expertise in marketing, sales, and consumer technology.
Our headquarters will be in NYC by May 2008, and we are open to people working remotely until that time. We are currently based in Philadelphia, PA.
What we are looking for?
We are looking for a Website Marketing Manager to market our community website, www.squarecanvas.com!
Ideal candidate will have 3-7 years of work experience in website marketing, ideally at a startup, and should be experienced in all aspects of marketing online (we are looking for the ability to build an online community from scratch). A candidate who intimately knows our target audience (creative talent, aged 18-34) is preferred.
Responsibilities will include managing the marketing budget, developing an online marketing plan, running the grassroots/ buzz efforts, managing an outside PR & promotional marketing agency, and guiding the website’s development!
This role will involve both strategic thinking and tactical execution. The Marketing Manager will report directly to the President of The Square Agency.
Compensation:
Salary range will be $50-70K, and includes participation in the Stock Option Plan.
