Web/UI Developer

MediaMath is the leader in the new and rapidly growing world of online exchange advertising. Online exchanges create markets (just like financial markets) for trading online advertising space, creating new opportunities to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of online advertising. MediaMath is a fast-growing company that has developed a proprietary platform for advertising agencies which provides technology, strategy, services, and insights to trade effectively across the leading display advertising exchanges on behalf of major advertisers. MediaMath partners with leading display ad exchanges including Google/DoubleClick AdX , Yahoo/Right Media and Microsoft/AdECN.

MediaMath is currently seeking a highly qualified and experienced User Interface (UI) developer to develop rich media and HTML, Web-based interfaces for its industry-leading platform. The role will encompass the following responsibilities and qualifications.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Responsible for developing major components of a large, critical, enterprise application.
• Critical thinking in solving complex problems on tight deadlines.
• Provide experience in all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Own or lead small/midsize projects (requirements, design, work planning, risk analysis, etc.)

Desired Qualifications:

• BA/BS in Computer Science, related degree, or strong comparable experience.
• 5+ years of professional Web development experience
• Advanced HTML/XHTML and CSS
• Advanced Javascript (including AJAX) experience, including familiarity with leading AJAX toolkits such as Dojo, ExtJS, Yahoo UI, or comparable
• Experience with cross browser compatibility issues
• Photoshop and Flash (with at least some Actionscript experience). Experience using other presentation technologies such as Flex, Air , OpenLaszlo or others a major plus.
• Proven track record for developing high quality products.
• Energetic engineering contributor with experience in analysis and design.
• Professional experience developing complex systems and working with QA, Product Management teams.
• Strong interpersonal skills and exceptional character.
• Experience working interactively with backend software engineers to define and document data and system requirements
• Experience in the advertising industry a major plus

This position is full-time in New York City. Candidates must be US citizens or have secured appropriate work visas. Candidates must also be within daily commuting distance of Manhattan or willing to relocate.
