If you coming from the UK it'll be a heap easier as we are part of the commonwealth, if you are coming from the US, bring cash (we need it he he). It all comes down to points, (typical immigration) age shouldn't be an issue and if you are coming here to start up a business and provide local jobs - then I don't see it being an issue at all. I would strongly recommend starting any immigration process from your home country though - makes it heaps easier @expatwannabe – Getting into NZ is as difficult as any other country. If you are prepared to get a bit out of the CBD you are spoilt for choices. It's not that hard to find a home close to the coast if not with great views.
