I'd have to disagree with you there, a blog is suppose to be a personal thing, letting people know who you are adds a nice touch to bringing people together. Kind of ironic you posted this today though, after I read this post.

I agree with Michael. For as long as I've been blogging, photos on blogs have always given me and other bloggers I've interacted with a sense of connection. It's nice to see a face behind the words. Speaking of which, I've been wondering what you look like. Donut man.;)

By the way, thank you so much for the donut money. Or rather, the eclair money. I haven't been able to enjoy them yet. Hopefully in a couple of weeks, though.

Great find Michael! See his picture you almost don't see due to the template setup. And please don't get me wrong. I am all for people's pics on their blog. Just not slap there on the home page that I have to look at every single time I read the site. The pictures are usually old and belong on an about page.

Do you mind if I call you Donut Diana :) Maybe that is a good way for me to lose weight - buy donuts for others instead of for myself!

I think having a pic on an about us page is great. Just not on the home page for me to have to look at your face everytime i visit.

Well, it wouldn't bother me, if it fit. But I don't eat donuts very often and I don't make bets with donuts.:)

I'm sorry it bothers you so much being forced to look at a pic you don't want to keep seeing. You always have the option of not reading, if you like the content well enough, but the picture bothers you even more. Or read the rss feed instead. Of course, that won't help if you always need to visit the blog to leave a comment.
