wuaalaThis month we’ve reported on fully customizable video players from KickApps and Magnify.net. Today we have learned about a new launch from the team behind Sausage Software. The product is named Wuaala and offers a fully customizable video player for both entry-level bloggers through enterprise clients who want to create a full Internet TV channel.

You can include videos from nearly any video host, adjust the size of the player to meet your layout. The player can be branded with your logo which is great when the player is embedded. Wuaala supports a variety of formats, pre-roll, mid-roll, post-roll and they also support in-banner to lower thirds, and companion ads. Wuaala notes that they currently work with Open AdStream 24/7 Real Media, Double-Click and Lightningcast.

The analytics option ties into Google Analytics and you can also setup to receive reports via email.

The Wuaala application runs as a Web service and pricing begins at $25 for the basic version through $350 for the full Wuaala version with widgets and statistics. Both the KickApps and Magnify.net players offer a free option with a revshare or you can buy out the ad inventory and display your own ads. All of these new video ad options are exciting as they are finally becoming available to the average video creator.

For corporate clients and small businesses, these new players are an excellent choice. For sites that produce their own content and want to leverage the strength of the hosted network, finding the right combination is very important. The ability to easily share and leverage the massive user network on YouTube is what keeps the service on top.
