YouTube Down; Alternative Suggestions
Updated: Februrary 24 - 3pm Eastern – YouTube appears down. The post below is from the prior outage on November 25th but the information still applies.
Yes, YouTube appears to be down currently. Looks like it’s down at least 30 minutes now (as of 12:45pm Eastern) based on Corsin’s note. I’ve received nine emails and a batch of Twitter messages asking if it’s down so here is my confirmation that it’s down for me as well.
The site currently returns the following message, "Http/1.1 Service Unavailable".
Update 1:20PM: YouTube is back, albeit a bit slow. Please resume cat video watching.
